The Problem

With ChatGPT and other generative AI, two major problems appear in education: students (and not only students) tend to copy and paste answers without thinking, accumulating cognitive debt; and teachers need support to adapt their methods. The MIT study Your Brain on ChatGPT shows that when we outsource too much to the machine, we lose our analytical, synthetic and critical faculties.

The Solution

Student Mode: Automatically turns basic questions (“Do my homework”) into prompts that stimulate critical thinking. The AI becomes a Socratic tutor that guides, rather than a machine that hands over a ready-made answer.

Teacher Mode: Generates learning sequences and assignments that lead students to think for themselves, with the AI acting as a methodological coach.

Technical Approach

A Next.js 15 application with TypeScript, with native multilingual support (FR/EN) and automatic localisation. Designed to work with the major AI platforms as well as local open-source models, to support broad accessibility.
