The Learning Planet Festival is an annual global event organized byUNESCO and the Learning Planet Institute. The platform enables partners from all over the world to create, select and host large-scale hybrid events, connecting educators, young people, researchers and change agents around the theme of education.
Global scale: Multilingual content management, time zone synchronization for, architecture capable of handling major traffic peaks during the festival.
Hybridization: Integration of physical and virtual events with streaming, replay, connection to third-party services (Zoom, Youtube, Matomo, etc.).
Distributed governance: a moderation system enabling partners to manage their events autonomously, while maintaining overall editorial consistency.
As Lead Product Manager, I was in charge of production management for the platform: definition of the product roadmap, coordination of technical and editorial teams, optimization of the multi-profile user experience (participants, organizers, moderators).
Since its launch, the platform has supported over 1,300 events and mobilized 130,000+ visitors and participants from 185 countries. It has become an enduring hub for international collaboration, facilitating the networking of education players and the dissemination of innovative practices on a global scale.
