Learning Planet Academy
An experiential, multilingual and hybrid learning platform designed for students, teachers and young leaders. Its goal is to help learners become planetary citizens capable of driving systemic change towards peace and sustainable development.
Global Context
On current trajectories, the world will not meet the Sustainable Development Goals. The UN Summit of the Future 2024 calls for the interests of future generations to be built into every decision. Today’s education systems poorly prepare people for complex challenges: climate, inequality and peace.
The Response
The Learning Planet Academy offers an experiential, multilingual and hybrid learning experience (online and in the field) for three audiences: Students (developing twenty-first-century skills), Teachers (innovative pedagogies) and Leaders (strategies for systemic transformation).
Intended Impact
To help people become planetary citizens able to understand systemic issues, collaborate across borders and drive change towards peace and sustainable development. The initiative aims to transform education into a lever for ecological and social transition.
